06 E55, Pretty sure your exhaust ahead of the resonators is 2.5 inch and 2.75 after..thats why I asked if you were running 3 inch.

Bring it to a shop that can flare the ends of the pipes. Shouldn't be a big deal.

If a shop cannot get the 3" pipe to work, go to another shop.

My setup is the same and I throroughly enjoy it. I am not looking for the car to sound like some old Malibu with the tailpipe dragging. Had several people tell me it sounds great. But it does not nor do I want it to attract attention on the road. That is what Civics are for.

I agree with the loud noise. I live in Florida and everyday I dive next to loud *** mustangs or vette's claiming there are fast. It's terrible

I'm doing cause of the claim that it helps the motor flow better. I like for it to be a sleeper myself

I just deleted my secondary cats and resonator.. Although its not too loud, it does give it a slightly deeper tone.. Once I do headers I think i will be very satisfied with the tone..

Headers help. Mine is very deep down low. It does get attention parking when I give it a slight blip to pull in. Just this past weekend a guy at Lowes walked over to check it out and commented on the sound, we spoke for 20 or so minutes.

I did this last weekend and it sounds better, but doesn't snarl at WOT like I thought it would. Headers and race cats should fix that :-)

If you look at the 3" Magnaflow it's somewhat like an expansion chamber and loses too much velocity. Now I know some will disagree with me, but I recommend keeping the original factory pipe size throughout. If you keep the factory primary cats, you should open the inlet to match the outlet. You can remove the secondary cats and modify a 2 1/2" Magnaflow to connect to the stock factory pipes precisely at the location of the removed cats. The smaller X-Pipe maintains and quite possibly increases gas velocity and provides small increase in scavenging.

I've posted this photo before and while this this is a 3 litre 20,000 RPM motor, it pushes more gas through those pipes than an M113K. Since I took the photo, I can assure you the collector is a bit less than 3".

Yeah deff pm me your number pass by my wash too if you want.

I do have some understanding of forced induction.
My previous car was s52 mroady with v2sq rms stage three supchager kit install with about 500 whp. Curb weight 3100lbs
I messed around with the exhaust pipes and it does make a diff if it does not flow right
