i have secondary cat and resonator delete it is not that much diffrent from stock, but the noise inside the car is definitely a lot more

Agreed, the wife noticed that little bit of noise...I told her I fixed the car so it can get better gas mileage. She doesn't know about all the other mods..."fixing oil leak, honey!"

I think one of the bigger factors when people install header is the removal of the cats, that alone more than likely makes at least 50% of the power. Since a large amount of restriction is removed, it would be interesting to see a dyno of just headers with cats installed to see what increase actually comes from just headers.

E63 and GL450, ML350 bluetec
I ran catless for a few months, stunk up the neighborhood and didnt notice any power gains with my EC V7 tune. I'm running a kooks cat with MBH setup now.

I take it all these cars are NOT in CA? I heard CAT deletes won’t pass smog? I was considering, but my mechanic said PASS.
