W211 head unit problem

This being the second time this problem occurs i decided to post here and try And figure this problem out!

The head unit just shuts off....
I try and turn it back on and it just stays on the mercedes-benz screen.

I tried turning off the car with no luck.

Both times the problem occured it was a hot day,
The first time the unit turned itself on a few minutea later (20-30).
The second time it didnt. Any suggestions?

Thanks

This should work even though i dont have nav? I have a 2003 e55 amg, with the regular radio and tape deck and all that old school stuff.

I just got in my car now and its still not working
What are my options if the reset doesnt work?

Thanks shardul

Disconnect the battery to the car for about 2 mins. Let me know if that works.

Ok so i really dont know what im looking for, i took appart the rear panels but dont see what in supposed to be disconnecting.

I do see 2 connectors with orange wires. Does that mean i can install a navigation system?

Yes your car is pre wired for navi if you see the orange fiber optic connector.
