GT-ER : How are you logging knock ? I am guessing autogenuity, but it is odd I cannot referrence knock via my OBD2 logger.....

Very frustrating that my Innovate OT2 does not log IDCs or Knock ....I thought these were standard parameters in logging (my Zeitronix does)...I guess I need to call Innovate today

I think your AFRs are just tune / load related...Interestingly the factory tune runs very rich after 5000 rpm (low 10's).

Unfortunately, nobody (that I know of) has really dissected the ECU code and made the information readily available so we could be sure there are not other factors driving the fuel and timing logic. OpenEcu for the MB platform sure would be nice....

Could you imagine what we could do if we were able to tune our own cars. It sucks everything is tied together on these cars. Thats one of the things i miss about "american" cars. Theres nothing like being able to drive and log the data then adjust it as you want to or being at the track and hooking up a laptop and changing things around. Well i'm done dreaming now.....

I used to tune GM vehicles using HP Tuner and it was absolutely amazing... especially at $400 ( back then, don't know now ).
