If it ain't one thing, it's another

Let me start off by saying, B. Gorman wheels suck major A$$! There is a very good reason why this clown is no longer on this forum. I truely hate these fu*king wheels.

The chrome is peeling off, thet don't even hold air any more, the offsets were wrong to begin with and he sent the wrong size tires. These wheels are more of a head ache to deal with, than the head ache it was to get them from him. And it took 7 flippin months to get them. FAWK me!

This is the second set of tires in 6 months. And both sets still had 7/32 left but look how they died. And remember these are on the CLS550 not and the AMG. Plus it's my wife's car that she has the kids in.

The 2 rears and the horrible inner wear:

The front passenger wheel :

Now, I know about the negative camber on our cars, but this is not the case. Because the driver front is surprisingly in good shape with even tire wear. These wheels were poorly built and just flat out suck! And lets not forget, the chrome is peeling on 3 of them. And the offsets were so far off they stuck out about an inch. I couldn't even lower the car. It's not a flippin Honda. FAWK! I wish I never bought these wheels!

Thanks Steve! He's the kind of guy that will hold his bible and preach to you so that you don't think less of him.

Have you had the cars alignment checked? I had really bad wear as well but after an alignment the rears wore evenly (car was slammed as well). As for the fronts, do you (or the wife) drive in sport II? I noticed that with the CLS in sport II the inners would wear super fast even after the alignment.

Yes it had an alignment. It was more due to the fact that these wheels were loosing air. No cracks and tires were new with no holes or anythhing. Just a sh*tty build. Had no problem with my other set of 20's that are now back on the car. These wheels always wore dead even. Plus my wife does not drive in sport 1 or 2. She only drives in comfort since the kids are always in the car. And the driver front on the Gorman wheels was fine with no inner wear.

They are on their way. Jess don't like the conclave look, she likes deep lips.

Dude, that just sucks. This forum is full of guys that would help a guy out no matter what, and then there is the .1% that seem to prey on the other 99.9%s honesty and good nature. I almost pulled the trigger on a set of SL65 wheels from Mr. Gorman, but something made me not do it.

+1000000000 that fool robbed me and I cant wait to get rid of the wheels I bought from him. My wheel build wasn't bad but the experience was a nightmare. I would trade my $3700 Vellanos for a coke and a smile just to forget about B. Gorman.
