Weird Rear Airmatic Problem
Looks like the passenger side rear airspring has gone.
So I purchased both left and right new rear airsprings to replace the old ones with, but now I have noticed that if I leave the car in the "raised" position the rear end will stay up for over a week without dropping at all.
Has anyone had any similar experiances?
Thank you.
The front I have no issues with dropping at all.
Sorry for the iphone photo.....

What are your thoughts?
PS, I didnt really want this photo to be the first of my car on the forum and apologies for the terrible introduction to MBWorld and E55 ownership.

i am new since today and facing also this wired Airmatic problem with my 2005 E55 since 4 days.
The back is dropping (sometimes) after parking and (sometimes) while driving, so i get the message " Stop, car to low"
When i push the "rise button" then it rises for a while but comes back.
I also watched it rising while getting gas, and at a curtain level it pumps up and down and up and down. Then it gets stable again for a while.
My Thought, if there is a leaking, then it should never get stable (means up and in level @ all four sites) at all. Isn't it !?!
What is really wired, today i had a bursting tire and after I changed the tire with the small emergency tire, the car is pumped up and stable, and no more problems.
Is it possible that the wrong size of tires can force a problem with the airmatic. Or is this a general electrical problem ???
Have also been with the MB Garage, he said there may be a leak and we have to change both rear air-spring because its leaking. I am not sure about this, because this all sounds like electrical for me.
thx
