Like I said this was my first time at the track, so like an idiot I filled my gas tank. I carried around a couple hundred pounds of extra gas that hurt me.

Whenever I get times like that, I go home...Read the sticky, put in dyno mode, warm the tires, and learn the track/car/weather. Dragtimes.com has all the references you need. Enjoy a new hobby!

Yep, my first time out I left traction control on, used sport shifting mode but selected 1st gear and allowed the tranny to auto-upshift for me, and put the car in comfort suspension mode. It got me a 12.67 at I think 112mph. I've been out twice since then and haven't seen this side of 13.1. I think some new tires will help as my Ventus V12 rears are in bad shape after a track day and three trips to the strip.
