Easiest/Best way to paint top mounts?

Haters crazy
Easiest/Best way to paint top mounts?

Was going to do it earlier this week, but after trying to mask off the /// amg i gave up lol... any suggestions tips on how some of you painted yours?

2012 C63 BS & 2014 E63 Estate & 2008 CLK63 BS
They are easy to take off.. Just take them off and either have them powder coated or paint them.. I got both of mine powder coated for under 100

paint the whole tank and then use a sanding block on the raised amg logos

Clean the tanks with something that will remove all the grease grime etc., then use some 3m blue edge lock tape to tape off the letters. I then used a sharp hobby knife and carefully traced the letters to cut the tape off leaving the letters covered. Took some time, but retained the factory polish on the letters.

Too much work....

Trust me, get a sanding block and just sand away the paint. Looks perfect, even shines up the letters

i tried sanding my letters, the only problem I ran into was the dust getting in between the letters and it was impossible to clean out of there without marking up the paint.... so I just resprayed the whole thing again

a can of dust cleaner will blow all that off
