100K miles with 50K blown a 1/4 miles at a time!!!
A fresh shortblock will be a good new starting point for Hoopty Part II!
Can't wait to see what you put together this time.
If you're not 1st you are last.

Thanks for the offer Craig. I still have everything from my E55 blown motor but would prefer a Kleemann or Weistec blower. Maybe I will just drop E55 complete motor in for now ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
Haha yea ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Yea I'm waiting on compression results on a E55 motor. Already have a few mods for it laying around. Should be fun.

Well hate to say it this way Ahmad but this failure makes me feel better. Everytime i've seen a skirt break its from too much piston clearance usually from wear. Given how hard your car ran for as long as it did, this is the best possible failure since the rods broke because of it not vice versa. As far as I'm concerned you've proven that these things can take a beating for a long time.

That's pretty much what I did when I dropped the pan
Sure is. The engine is trash. Wonder how much I can get for it as scrap metal maybe make a necklace out of the timing chain and have the broken piston or rod on the end loll

Sorry about your loss. Do you have data logs from the run? Did you have a separate tune for race gas? That's some major carnage!!!

Ok guys just bought a 211 E55 motor with 40k miles. Game on! This fall should be fun!
Lol no way
Haha thanks bro I think I found my new motor ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
No I usually don't log when I just go out for a drive. No separate race gas tune.

Haha I dunno about nines, I'm just bolting stuff I have laying around to it and my headers suck because there's no room in my car. I'm going to run "full weight" as well, in my case over factory weight. I'm putting 82mm tb, ported heads, 180 pulley, built Trans and probably torque converter on it. Will see what the future holds.
