RBM of Atlanta did an excellent job of repairing my car's fuel system under my CPO warranty. No further issues following repair.

I have it.. 2004 E55. $1500 to RBM, and it had no effect. I'm taking it back in today.

Just put my car in to Atlanta Classic 2 days ago for this issue. Gas smell was so bad that I knew all it would of taken was a match being struck in it's vicinity would of resulted in KA-BOOOOOM!!!
Got the Chrysler Warranty so hopefully that"ll cover it.

Hi, yeah I have been told by local mercedes dealer that my fuel line was leaking somewhere. But I also have noticed that as long as I don't fill the gas above the half mark it doesn't seem to be affected. A loss of gas is only noticeable when I fill up the tank to full.

My 2004 SL55 started smelling of gasoline about a week ago. I took it to RBM North in Atlanta and am awaiting to hear their findings.

Wont be surprised if you need fuel sending units for driver side/passenger side. And maybe a new gas tank.

Pressure sender on the passenger side was leaking. I wonder if ethanol in the gas would do this to the seals.

I bought komp55's car last year and I can attest that at least one of the FSU's has cracked and begun leaking since.

Mine has the issue. It's had the work done under recall by MB previously (even has the sticker saying so), was fixed by me, and then evolved to the tank.
