One piece C63 rotors on E63?
Hey guys, it is about time to replace the front rotors and pads on my E63. I've been looking at the Evosport and Racing Brake options, but also noticed that the C63 guys were talking about how cheap their non performance package one piece rotors have gotten. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the two piece performance package brakes on the C63 are the same as the ones on the E63. Does this mean the single piece rotors can be used on the E? I wouldn't mind saving several hundred dollars for slightly more weight and reduced performance on a pretty softly sprung daily driver...
Any input would be great. Thanks!

So I don't think this is any different than using 1-piece E55 rotors on the E63.
I'm still leaning towards the 2-piece rotor from EvoSport but I'm just curious to see about the W204 C63 rotor compatibility.

Slightly more unsprung weight is one.
More heat to the wheel and hub (again, if not track use, not enough heat to matter).
Much more money in your pocket... oh, wait, that is a good thing

Are these what we are talking about? This would certainly save a lot of money for non-track driving people. If that is accurate, you would be looking at total brake job for the cost of one E63 front rotor. Plus, for that price, you could add some really aggressive pads and probably not lose any braking performance - not expert though. I'll defer to Jon on that one.

Just need someones confirmation that they witnessed or actually has done this. If it does, there is a whole lot of options available for c63 rotor in the 1pc dept. I may just buy the OEM C63 1pc rotor and try it, my parts guy said I could try and return if it does not work. The real concern is just the offset of the rotor, the rest of the specs are the same. diameters x thickness are the same for both.

I was waiting on this too, you may be able to verify by checking Racingbrake part numbers, when I look up rotors for the E63, it shows the same part for C63... but no solid confirmation on anyone doing this yet as far as I know.

Ok good to know that it is not a dead thing and may still be a possibility.. I need to do my rotors and brakes and there is a very good possibility that I will be selling it and picking up the Panamera so wanted to keep cost down.. I still love this car though and have considered keeping it to mod the $%#@ out of it for a fun weekend car.. If I do keep it I am going to go with the Evosport rotors as I have heard nothing but great things about them.

Roger. Yesterday I emailed them for confirmation on the rotor ring they show 14041-311K-01. No response. This came up on their site when search word C 63 was used. However, now I suspect the 355 mm may be too small dia. I am just starting this search so will try to soak up this thread and others. If I find anything worth while, will advise. (CENTRIC shows good drawings on line and @ Rock Auto-with dims).

I've used c63 rotors on e63
I used 2008 c63 rotors on my 2008 e63 and they were a direct fit. Honestly I can't tell the difference from the Evosport rotors that I had on before, if anyone is still interested. I also use EBC red brake pads in front. They work great and a lot less brake dust.

Maybe someone can answer here... If the stock front rotors on an e63 are 2 piece, can we just buy replacement rings to save some coin? Or do we have to buy the whole setup (hat and disk)? If you can buy just the ring, where can I source replacements?

You can not buy replacement rings for the two piece OEM.
You can for the racingbrake setup.
If you do not track, buy the less expensive one piece.
