Remove chrome strips W211
I found this thread.

It's pretty old ... anyone with updated techniques on how to remove the chrome strips most effectively? I want them black, tried plastidip, it's kind of a pain on the chrome strips because the seems between the strips and the moulding channel they sit in are so small that the plastidip doesn't get a great wrap.

So - thinking I need to remove them to deal with it effectively ...

Great timing!

I'm into that as well. I received my 3M Carbon fiber vinyl and want to try this way..... Still thinking how to do it.
