I've had a couple panic stops, and have felt no difference in bite.

I tracked the car with Akebono's and couldn't tell a bit of difference from stock.

I am yet to make some hard stops. I literally just swapped the pads and I am paranoid about brake squeal, so I have been taking it easy during my first 50 miles on the new set.

I can't say for sure if there is a decrease in braking performance, but from what I can feel from my foot, it feels like the pedal is a bit more stiff-feeling and it does not grab as hard upon initial application of the brake.
