shifter buttons on steering wheel not working
anyone ever have this happen to them? i got my car back from the shop and all of a sudden i can't switch gears via the steering wheel.
going to see if something was knocked loose, but wanted to do a lil self diagnosing first.
thanks

If you removed the airbag, there is a little black strip/box with plugs in it. That may be the culprit. Sometimes you can get lucky and just unplug/plug back in and it will start working. others not.

work done at the shop
trunk closer button fixed (wires all frayed up there)
keyless go fixed - whole new shift assembly from dealer
rear sunshade motor
star lowered
it works on the gear shift itself - tried to switch between Manual/Sport/Comfort - to no avail did the buttons work.
thanks guys

And I did reset the car, removed the shifter cover to see if all plugs were aligned and all looks in order.

Sounds more like a coding issue to mate the EGS to the steering wheel control module. If the work was performed at the dealer they will be able to code it.
I doubt any connectors behind the airbag are disconnected because it doesnot seem like the airbag was removed at any point, but you can still check them if you want.

not done at the dealer but from a shop that i completely trust - i will have them take a look at the coding and have them program the buttons to see if that fixes the issue - thnx for the help -
