If the power gain is primarily from removing the catalytic converter, then I guess the factory designed a perfectly good street legal setup. I was under the impression the collector size was the restricting the flow, and thus limiting the power on the stock system, and not the catalytic converters.

Do EC, MBH, or TTM not bolt up to the factory exhaust ? I was told they did.

Last time I looked at my setup after the headers to the front cats its all one peice all the way to the muffler tips so how is any long tube header going to bolt right up?

Yup..... that's why I bought it last Nov, car sound really much better. I also got the ECU tune from Cory. You can have any muffler shop to install it for about $350 to $400. If your car is really low be careful with speed bump, don't go to fast.

I also plan on getting the ECU from them. Did u feel a big difference in power ?
I'm assuming I should get 35-40whp with the tune and headers so maybe close to 550 crank HP ?

I just took it to a muffler shop and they knew how to do it. I remember paid $350. Don't take to any Indy shop, most of them don't do welding so they still have to take it to muffler shop. Cory gave me a special price to tune my ECU and 550 crank hp is about right. My next step might be the SC pulley

Bought the Kleeman header last year on the special pricing (I need to get flex pipes welded in, thanks for the tip Shardul), did all the other stage 2 upgrades at the same time (as well as an ABC pump replacement), so I can't comment on this mod by itself, but the sound with the AMG rear section in place is perfect for me, and the power just never seems to taper off. Cost me about $500 (gave him a tip) for welding as it is a bit more risky for him as a business owner to be cutting up emissions parts, especially with the Smog ****'s that are in California.
