Plastidip entire car
Have any of you guys seen this? A few guys locally are doing their cars and they're coming out really good!

Apparently you can wash it, but definitely not through any drive thru wash... not that I recommend going to those anyways. On my Lexus, I had the emblems plastidipped and they held up pretty well even during washing. I assume with larger pieces and more coats it can be even more durable.

Sparknotes:
Guy buys a new front bumper and doesn't want to spend $$ to paint it. So he buys a can of spray paint to match his car to the bumper.

I was literally thinking about giving this a try on an '88 190e. its only $3-- to $4-- for a whole car it that will cover a large sedan. They even hale a lot of kits for wheels, trim, car, and other things. from having seen it in person, its not pleasant to touch, kinda like clay on a dry car if you know what I mean. Not to mention washing of bird poo and tree wax is a B!TCH. Although, Some people successfully apply 4 or 5 coats to their wheels as winter protection, and it holds up great. peels right off when done.

I had this stuff on my grill for over a year and it held up fine. Just took it off cause the dealer wanted the car back to stock. I found the thicker you put it on the easier it is to take back off. Took my car through the car wash all the time never chipped or came off at all.
I'm planning on trying it on my wheels on my new ride. Ill let you guys know how it holds up. Probably saves the wheels especially during the winter.

So if a hater uses his finger nail to start with, he can pill any thing he likes off the car right? This will cost a good amount of $$$, I just don't want to drive home in a random black and white car and spend that $$$ for everyime you got hit lol.

Been there done that. It's not as weak as you think. I have video of the removal. Removes similar to vinyl

Some guy with G37 did this and when taking it off with a pressure washer, he stripped the paint from plasti dip and his stock color....Must be a ***** to clean though

I ran it through car washes, power washed it, scrubbed it with a scour pad... Dropped a screw driver head down into my painted bumper(accident) and no damage was done to the paint underneath

For an entire kit including everything from 3 gallons of dip down to the sprayer and masking tape, its about $400. Then from there on out you just need the dip and masking tape. Gallon is I think $56 a piece. Not to bad.
