Some side shots where you can get a feel for the overall look of the car would be great.
The pics shown are of the paint, the interior, the wheels and down the flanks of the car.
So get to it Kaneman and post more pics!!

Well the weather down here is REALLY bad right now (just dodged a bullet and had Claudette the hurricane miss us) as we're getting a deluge of rain but as soon as it gets nice and I get me child polished up once again pics will be forthcoming.

![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
kaneman - I like your wheel/tire combo so much, I am thinking of doing the same. My question to you is: I ordered the tire pressure monitor option and wanted to know if it will still work with the 19" style IV wheels? This will be for my ordered E55 not the E500 I currently drive. Thanks, mp

Mbprince, you can't go wrong with the look but I WOULD order the correct width for the E55 and NOT the R230 wheels that I got. They won't stick out of the wells quite as far but then again you won't be throwing everything up on the side of the car as I am now.

kaneman and harris - thanks for your replies - what would be the 'right' sized tires (don't want the speedometer to be inaccurate) and do I ask for 19" AMG style IV wheels for the E55 or are they actually for another model? thanks, mp

There is a set of 19" Style IV multi-piece specifically made for the E55 - 8.5x19 ET30 and 9.5x19 ET31. The only place to get them (for now) is through your dealer, but if a set of Style IV 18" one-piece costs USD8000 at the dealer, imagine how much they will ask for the 19" multi-piece??? I am trying to order them, you are welcome to send me an e-mail if you're interested.
If the SL ones do work on "kaneman" car, I think those will be your alternative.

Harris - thank you for the update. I am hoping my E55 will be here in Oct or Nov of this year and will keep in touch with you as to the 'non-dealer' availablity of these wheels. mp

Harris, are you sure about the $US8000 price for the 18" one piece? I know they aren't the same size, but I paid about $US2800 for my AMG Styling IV one piece 18" wheels on my C32 here in Australia. It seems unlikely that the stock E55 wheel would be so much more, doesn't it? Australia isn't normally cheaper for auto stuff than the US.

got my 18" AMG IV wheels with tires 'through' the dealer (they buy from a local tire/wheel shop) for $3200. Could have gotten them myself from another shop for about $300 less but wanted to have the dealer do the swap. of course the dealer originally had a much higher price in mind.
I have no idea of the dif in price going to the 19" multi piece wheel.

kaneman: nice wheels!! I think think your car needs to lower just a bit, an inch? can you tell me what did the tire shop do to your tire pressure monitoring system? or manbe I should ask, do youn know how does the tire pressure monitoring system work?

Harris, I'm going to talk to the dealership about lowering it soon, haven't had time yet but yes it needs to come down about an inch. Should handle better then too. I SPECFICALLY didn't order the tire pressure monitoring system because I knew I would be changing wheels and didn't want to deal with it. Also I'd heard (from the dealer) that the system was more trouble than it was worth... easy decision not to get it.
