Wow completely awesome video Clay. Looks like you had an amazing time. My favorite ride in the vid was that gunmetal GT2 until I saw the McLaren. Game ova.

I enjoyed that, the quality, editing and the production of that video is first rate, obviously Justin Houston knows hos stuff. The 996TT looks fantastic, these cars have not aged at all (Z8 looked great also!). I hope the rain did not dampen everyone's spirits, what a mixed bag of weather.

You love me and you know it. Don't deny that I'm your favorite non-Texan.
Hilarious. Lobster dude was awesome. I have a picture of him at our cabana eating a lobster roll. Cannibal...
DO IT! Can't believe you're the only one to mention me driving up 95 with a helmet.
Um yeah... Never expected that traffic. It took over 2 hours to go the last 20 miles. Montauk, as you know, is all the way at the end, so we were in that congestion forever. Worth every damn minute of it though....
Something like that. Mrs Benz-O-Rama is very infectious. I'm just her lowly sidekick that gets the mercy tag-a-long invite.
Dude, it was amazing. The VIP treatment at the party was outstanding....full comp. We were told what the bill would have been, and I about fell out. Then again, I'm not huge in the VIP/Bottle/Table scene much anymore, so, I'm a bit disconnected from the going rate. Plus it was in The Hamptons, so I'm sure there was a Hamptons Tax on it too. The good news is, our lovely server(s) for the night got HOOKED....and they deserved it. We tipped on the full bill.
The GT2 belongs to a member here, Sunir. He also has a very heavily modded SL55, a DB9, and a couple of BMW Spec track cars.
The weather sucked for the drive up, but cleared up very nicely for the party, as you saw. The airstrip was virtually a wash out, and depending on which way you traveled home, you either got heavy rain, or you almost got dead. A small group had to outrun a tornado that touched down RIGHT beside them. Not making that up....
Thank you sir. She held her own...
Me too. I was actually sore the next day from partying too hard. The drive up there was VERY taxing......

Just happened upon this thread while looking for something else. And I'm totally gonna shamelessly bump this, after watching this video again. God damn, what a weekend...

Was literally a weekend that I will always remember, THAT fun. So much not on video....
Wheels are the now very popular Vossen CV3s. They've been around a while now, and unbelievable that not a single one has bent.
Here's one of the original threads for pics. There's a video linked in there too.

And yes, they are a direct bolt on to the W219 CLS as they share the exact same offsets with the R230 SL
