Amazing Weekend: Supercars, The Hamptons, Girls and Speed - Video
Sometimes when the planets align, you luckbox your way into things. Last weekend was one of those times for me. At some point in time, I shook hands with the right person, and it scored my lovely wife and I, an invite of epic proportions. I know this stuff isn't impressive to some of you ballers on here, but for me and my lovely, it was. We're so very gracious to those that made it happen, and it's something we won't soon forget.
Capital Supercars, a group of DC/Metro enthusiasts, engineered an invitation to attend the inaugural weekend of The Montauk Beach House, with special guest DJ Paul Oakenfold and band The Young Empires. We were given full VIP treatment to include a few cabana day-bed thingies, full comp bottle service and food, as well as in-front parking to display the vehicles. It was one of the most memorable weekends I've had. The cruise up to the The Hamptons from DC was unbelievable. I'll leave it at that, but let's just say that we garnered a bit of attention going up 95N. Spirited drive, to say the least.
The next day was an airstrip rental for speed runs. Unfortunately, the weather didn't really cooperate for that, but the brave still did it.
Anyway, we had a few photographers there and very talented young videographer chronicle the event. I won't bore you with the pics, but below is the video. Some of you that are FB friends with me have already seen this, and the hundreds of pics.... but for those that haven't, enjoy.

LOL, I used to live in NYC and went to the Hamptons every weekend. I was wondering how much editing was done to take out all the stop and go traffic on Long Island when I watched this video.

We all know it was really right car, right wife, and if you drive you can come too.
Very Nice looks like you all had a bunch of fun.
Thanks for sharing.
