I bought my loaded 2006 (clean carfax 2 owner good service records) with 64k miles retail for $24,998 at our Tucson, AZ VW store. I worked over their GSM because I was watching it and it was an "old age" unit about 10 days from auction. I think that was a pretty killer deal.

Hey, good luck, hope it works out. Make sure the place doing the PPI also checks paint and body.

Sorry I could not get that other E55 for you at auction. Sometimes a bidding war erupts, and that MB dealer buyer seemed willing to pay above retail for it. Crazy.

Within about 2 years ill be lookin for a s- class or ls 460 and e92 m3... So i will need you again
