** For Sale** Electronic Lowering Module
Didn't see a suspension section in the classifieds so I am going to post this here. Hope the mods are ok with it.
This is an electronic lowering module identical to the Renntech unit, just doesn't say Renntech on the top since it was purchased directly through the manufacturer who made the Renntech module (through a 3rd party on a group buy). The unit itself works perfectly. It comes with the cable for a remote and the remote as well, I myself had a problem with the remote working though. I looked over all the wiring after installing and all seemed to be correct from what I could see, my only thought was maybe something that was pinned out from the factory of the lowering module on their harness was not right to allow the remote to work. I really don't know because without the remote plugged in the unit worked great and could adjust through all the height settings by turning the dials in the module. I sent the remote to another member with the same setup and the remote worked in his car so it is not the actual remote that is bad either.
But like I said, the actual unit (using it like the Renntech V1 that didn't come with a remote) works perfectly. You take the top off and their are 4 dials inside to adjust the height up or down. If you plug the remote in to the harness it shuts the elm off and the car will run at its normal height before you installed the elm.
The reason I am selling is because my car sits a lot with little/no use due to me working away from home for long periods of time. The elm draws some power even when the car is off so it will pick away at your battery over time. I had no issues ever when I was driving the car everyday or every 2 or 3 days but when it just sits (1+ week?) it would struggle to start.
I purchased it for just over $700 a few months back as part of a group buy to get special pricing saving a few hundred off what they normally cost.
I will let it go for $400 shipped and if you don't know it will work on any of the different cars, E, CLS, CL, SL, S, ML, etc. There are instructions for each different chassis on how to wire for that particular car.

Here it is on the lowest setting in my car. The car had a 1" drop with STAR before though so it sat slightly lower than it would on a stock heigh car.

Here is a few clicks higher than the lowest setting

As for the height, it was just for a pic, I did drive it like that a few miles and there is almost no travel in the front suspension so it is terrible that low with constant bottoming out of the shock. I would run it at the height shown in the other picture.
