***Famoso Private Track Rental - 2012***
Mo (MB Forever) was kind enough to set up a number of private track days at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield in the past, and all were extremely successful. I have PMed Mo to see if he is interested in helping set one up this year, and if not, Ill try to solo it.
The Track was resurfaced last year, and it is as good as it gets on the West Coast - Its an AWESOME track.
If you would be interested in something Late November / Early December, please post up. Cost will likely be around $200/ea, so consider that in advance. I would like to get 30-50 for an all day, dedicated rental.
This was the situation last event, and I would try to duplicate:
In November, Famoso usually sees very good DA: -200 ft to +600 ft (I know it's not as good as east coast tracks, but it is very decent for California). In a private rental, the track is usually well prepped and each of us will be able to get as many runs as we can/want with almost NO WAITING time at all. This would be a good opportunity to practice/perfect launches, shift times, try out different mods, fine tune each car, and most importantly hang out with a great group of car enthusiasts who share the same passion.
SPECIAL BONUS
There will be at least THREE TUNERS at the event. So whoever wants to fine tune their vehicle under real-world driving conditions, this will be your chance. Custom dyno tuning is great but you just can't beat custom track tuning especially on a good day :-D

Ill see if I can get a hold of them this week.
How would Dec 1st or 8th look? Just bouncing some dates so when I talk to them I can find out open weekends.

Hopefully my car will be long gone and sold, but I would love a little friendly competition between amg brothers.............I'll let off at the 1000ft mark for you guys....
