Considering selling my baby, warranty runs out in a few months

I have 61k miles and the Fidelity warranty runs out in a few months so I'm considering selling her now while still under warranty to help keep my losses to a minimum. I bought the car 12 months ago for $42k (bone stock), with 48k miles and have since invested about $8k worth of goodies and have 61k miles. What do you guys think??

I say keep it and add TB and injectors. Then enjoy the FAWK out of her.

Can you turn wrenches at all?

Yes - you're great at it - keep the car
Yes - kinda - keep the car if you have some $ to blow on maintenance
No - keep the car only if you know a shop in your area that won't rip you off for every little thing and you don't mind paying out some cash on maintenance and repairs

My cars been very reliable and good to me besides tires and my radio cutting out when its really hot outside. You have an 06 with 61K not an 03 with 140K. You shouldn't be facing any crazy repairs anytime soon. Very likely not anything that would cost you more then another year of car payments on a new vehicle.

my friend had an 05 with 145k miles. no issues besides wear items like balljoints and control arm bushings. Once he did them it was perfect. You should keep the car.

I agree with pretty much everything BBBSS said. Unless you feel the need to actually have something different. I wouldn't do it just cause the warranty is running out.

So you have invested $50k into the car in a year and ready to dump it?? I'd take the car to an indy you trust and pay for an all out inspection. Then submit the claim to warranty to get fixed. Once its all fixed, you pretty much have a maintenance free car for a few years to enjoy.

sell it before you can, many 63's are coming off lease now, so price for our cars would be $18-20k soon.

You might get $35k with those miles, I would keep it at this point.

Keep it. If you want a warranty, I think you can get NAC Pinnacle. You're ok on years, not sure on mileage.

Its CLS not E. A bit more expensive. $35K sounds reasonable but $42K not sure if will sell.

Like stated above, it is a CLS. If it was an E it would be worth 22 to 24.
