The closest 1/4 is Bakersfield.. Hell, Firebird might be closer
1/8 is fun to go out and race your friends, practice launching and nailing down 60'.. Plus, its easy to go, run and get home in a couple of hours-
Oceanside (Carlsbad) has not had drag racing since 2005 ish

I have been told the TCU tune improves the quickness of the shift itself. I don't think it affects the responsiveness of what has been referred to as the:

It's good to hear the real scoop, as many users have claimed that it sped up the button response.
If removed, does this in theory mean that we're toying with the life of the transmission? If not, this in itself + the higher rev limit would make it very much worth the purchase.
So removing the torque limiter will allow you to use more of the available torque
Will this decrease the longevity of the transmission?... maybe, but not in itself. The modifications taking the drive train well beyond its design (HP/TRQ) comes with risk, and most who mod accept those risks
Ahem, if only....if only, a 2.8+ diff conversion didn't cost an arm and a leg for this car....
