They delayed my project by a couple of days due to some custom work they have been doing for me.
Heat Exchanger Kit has reached
Weistec parts are being shipped out on Monday actually, and then a few days to reach on this side of the world. Less than a week for the parts to be installed. I'll be posting the build here as well and show the numbers it will achieve, dyno runs, 95 octane and 105 octane (I drive the car mostly between 103 and 105 octane)

If you look at the dyno graph in that video, you can see that torque takes a serious hit after maybe 5000rpm and that's when hp flat lines. This is likely the stock exhaust ( especially the manifolds ) putting a cork on it. If headers make 30+whp on the stock supercharger, imagine the gains of a good exhaust setup with this kit? I see 620whp very possible with the addition of a full exhaust.

They are teasing again........ Still no info on what kind of boost. Also remember they posted a graph (the one above) of 534whp/532wtq but then the video of basically same setup (mention of ice tank beside the throttle body) doing 574whp/571wtq.
Here they have added a full exhaust and have a graph reading 575whp/615wtq so I am curious what the car can really do (can it like the previous setup also have an extra 30-40whp in it) and if the graph is being conservative. Also since there is no mention of the ice tank this time, is it not in there? Or maybe the other previous 574whp dyno had ice in the tank but this time it didn't?
Still on 91 octane, just don't understand why they don't mention the boost or respond to people asking questions about it.
If you look at how they label mods on their graphs for the 63 engine kits, they have "long tube headers" separate from "full exhaust" so I believe that means they just have exhaust and not actually headers back to the exhaust tips replaced just yet. They also had "deleted cats" on the graph of the 63 along with these other two. Curiosity with lack of clear details has me wondering if they just bolted on an exhaust system and still have the stock manifolds and cats in the car and that is the result shown above.
Do we still have another 40whp available with some headers, or does "full exhaust" mean there are headers installed?

Guys and gals,
Thanks for your patience, and thanks to many of you for the kind words about what we are doing and what we are about. We by no means want any speculation with our products, but we can "role with the punches" because the truth is we have been testing this system for the past 6-7 months and it has impressed us every step of the way. We understand performance, but most importantly we have a keen understanding of the engineering involved to create a system that works well for customers around the world.
Now to answer a few questions that will hopefully shed some light for those that are interested. We have two test vehicles; those that have come by our facility have seen both. One is a 2003 E55 with over 100,000 miles, and the other is 2006 CLS55. The E55 has a mid-length header setup and a 3" x-pipe, Weistec Ice Tank, and the 82mm throttle body option. The CLS55 has only our supercharger system on it. Everything else is 100% stock, and the intercooler system is still joined together with the coolant system of the engine. Many of you have modified cars, but there are many people looking for power on a stock vehicle as well. Not to mention the CLS is being used for our pending CARB approval which will be great for some of you.
Boost:
Our 3.0L Twin Screw is hard to compare with the factory system. There are some variables that are far spread; therefore boost cannot truly be compared between our system and the factory system. Either way, here are the numbers on our system.
Please note that none of these runs were iced, these are real world conservative numbers.
On a car with stock exhaust and a 74mm throttle body: 13psi (dyno graph below)
On a car with stock exhaust and an 82mm throttle body: 14psi from the added flow of the 82mm(dyno graph below)
On a car with full exhaust (headers, mid pipes, no cats) and an 84mm throttle body: 17psi from the added efficiency of the exhaust (dyno graph below)
The 74mm throttle body has proven to be restrictive on a car that has free flowing exhaust. For maximum results we recommend running the 82mm throttle body with our system if your car has a good exhaust system installed.
Intake Air Temperatures:
This is dependent on ambient air temperatures. Naturally, the hotter it is outside the hotter intake temps will be. We have gathered that perhaps 60% of you have already separated the engine coolant and intercooler water systems on the car. This helps quite a bit just like it would on a factory Kompressor. For best results our Trunk Ice Tank is the way to go, not only for it’s icing ability in a track situation, but the dramatically increased volume of water, giving consistent daily water temps, with our supercharger or factory. Either route a customer takes is fine, but intake air temperatures are far cooler than the factory Kompressor.

Same here, the moment I found out a there and then placed a despoit and had this fear that most E55+SL55 boys would be getting this. Luckily I was one of the first so lets see what happens from this following week. I'll be posting videos and pics on my thread (SL55 section for updates)

Weistec, thank you for the new info. My question however is, how does boost jump up from 14psi to 17psi by just adding exhaust? Boost should drop by adding the exhaust, not go up.

Also as for octane, many people run 93 octane, possibly more than there are running 91, is there only a 91 tune? Is there room in the tuning for more ignition timing for a car on 93 and on the 91tune it just pulls a little timing? Or are the 93 octane running cars all over the country (maybe world) just not going to get the performance they can being limited by a lower octane tune they are provided with? So pretty much will there be a 91 and 93 octane tune available and then possibly a race gas tune for others building their engines and ready for more boost?
Oh and since the teasing is over, have any more videos to share?
