Awesome meeting everyone today. Was able to best an ET of 12.19 bone stock on 19's and all season tires. Best mph was 116. With some stickies it'll be in the 11.8 range. The 12.19 run it only trapped 115.0 after some heat soak but cut a 1.84 60'

Hey Elliot, so happy to hear you dipped into the 10's couldn't happen to a more dedicated no BS guy. ...and I don't even know you....lol I hope the pics and video follow... Still shots from a dig gotta look sick with that kinda 60 ft... Too bad you were having issues with the back half. Safe trip back, I wouldn't be shocked to see you back in February once things are sorted. Hopefully I'll make it down then.

Had a great day and made a few new friends. Not too many Mercedes guys out today but it was a perfect day weather wise. I took a lap in Mr-Uli's bone stock E55 but only managed a 12.21 and 1.85 60ft but heat soak had set in. I drove Elliot's car for a pass and boy did that feel good. 10.77 with only a 1.56-1.57? 60ft (first run I spun bad). If only that first pass Elliot made was a full pass I think it would of been in the 10.50's for sure. Hopefully Elliot can make the trip back up this spring and lower that time down some more. By the way for those that don't know that car is LOUD and inside during a pass sounds something similar to a pro stock without all the shift.

Thanks a lot guys! And big thanks to e55amgrocket for all the help today!
It was a pleasure meeting every one. Great group we have here on MBWorld!
Altogether it ran
10.75
10.79
10.82
10.86
10.91
10.73
10.77
11.06
15.00
Best 60ft was 1.49 Best trap was 129mph
No shifting issues. After we checked everything and couldn't figure it out, I almost left. But then Steve figured it out. There wasn't enough fuel. How stupid. It was running out of fuel at the end of the track. Once we put plenty of Q16 in it ran fine.
I'll have vids up when I get home. I got plenty.
Again thanks lot for all the kind words guys!

Its pretty scary how much more the car has in it with a full pass.. I mean 10.75 at 121
.. With a 130 mph pass, I could see 10.4 ![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
Just got home, what a drive.. I thought I was going to be able to meet the infamous djrabbi though.. Kind of disappointed

I ran my best e.t. and oh so close to 10.99999 but I couldn't get it. 11.03@123.85 with a 1.592 60'. All external bolt ons...nothing fancy. I am still using the steam roller stock front tires too. Car was hitting a minor torque limit that needs to be tuned out when the launch was really good. I had a few 1.58s but the et was always worse. When the 60' was 1.61 or so, the mph was 124.8-125.1. I ran every 11.0x from 11.03 to 11.09. 4400lb race weight...heavy *** Camaro!

2004 Cl 55 AMG
Great day at MIR on Saturday. Met some great new people. Thanks a lot to Red Bull, e55amgrocket and aknight55 for all your tips and help. It was great meeting you and putting a face to your MB World handles. Lenin is was great to meet you and sorry about the loss of your ride. Mr-Uli, thanks again for the use of the helmet. I could not have hand any kind of great day without your help. You were most generous.
I ran the CL 55 on roughly 18 runs. My best was a 11.912 at 118.27 with a 1.760 60'. This is clearly my best time ever and puts me in firm belief that MIR is the "MIRacle Air" Track.
Track prep was awesome, and they reprepped it multiple times when several of the higher-end cars were going for record runs. Track was so sticky that it sounded like you were peeling off old duct tape as the cars were running over the track.
The launches for my best times were done with the ABC at it's highest settings, suspension set to "convenience" mode. I turned off the traction control. This configuration with the traction control off was only usable with the excellent track prep. Earlier in the day I had issues with traction when the prep was not as fresh and sticky.
By the way, the scales at MIR reported that my 04 CL 55 weighed in at 4744 lbs. Not a lightweight, by any means.
I have some additional goodies to put in my car to mod it further. These and subsequent mods will clearly exceed what limited traction I have. I will be in the market for DRs and wheels before the winter shootout. I don't know when it is, but I know damn sure that I will be there.
