Been data logging and uploading to Dropbox. One thing to keep in mind is that I am running a 200mm pulley so comparisons are tough. I can say my timing is in check so far whereas prior it was scaled back a bit.

Will post up hopefully this weekend.

Sorry to bring an old thread back to life, as I'm sure its been discussed else where, but I cannot seem to get a direct answer..

OP or anyone else who has done this install, what did you use to keep the reservoir in place? I want to keep the tank somewhat level to the ground, as well as not touch the hood, and also keeping in mind the small accessory battery below (don't want to short out terminals).

Has anyone created some form of bracket or mounting platform for this reservoir? When I received mine, its literally just a tank, no brackets, no mounting holes etc.

I'd like to avoid having a lump of play-doh in various spots simply because it's not a "clean" or solid mount installation..

I have contacted Steve about it and this was his suggestion:

"We do not have any brackets for the tank as it fits secure on top of the Aux Battery mount. Most of our clients take a piece of Foam and set it in-between the tank and the battery. We have never had an issue. Please let me know if you have any further questions."

I'm in no way trying to dis him or represent any poor reviews of any sort, the stuff I received is excellent. I was just hoping for more than a "piece of foam" to hold my tank in place.

Good luck with that. From what I've heard he isn't very helpful.

You mentioned earlier to contact him... and now you're back tracking... Interesting.

He responded, it wasn't an answer I was looking for, but no need to dismember the guy. It's a custom setup and it requires custom work. I was just hoping for more of a direction or someone to say hey I made up brackets like this (insert picture). But I think I might have to custom fab up some brackets here at work. I'm going to attempt to use the lower two cabin air filter studs as a "rear" mount position with some flat steel or aluminum.

thanks anyways.

So I'm the guy that bought the original poster's setup, including his mounting solution. Personally, I think what he used was spot on. No need to have an additional bracket added. Now that answer about using a "piece of foam" is crap. I wouldn't do it.

What was the original mounting solution? Play-Doh? frankly, between the two options of foam or Play-Doh, they're both in the same type of category. either way, there isn't a fixed mounting solution.

Since you're too ****ing lazy to look really look at Pearlpower's COMPLETE writeup, look at the picture of the cabin filter and you can clearly see what he used instead of foam. You don't really need an additional mounting solution as there's no place for the tank to go.

TIP: If you have ever played with braided hose you know perforated fingers are the norm, and cutting can be a PITA. Wrap tape to prevent fraying, then cut, I used a Dremel.

Since I'm too ****ing lazy... really? c'mon tough guy, get over your internet rage. I've read his post and looked at every picture carefully. I see his rubber grommets on the cabin air filter studs. I have no issues mounting my cabin air filter kit. That isn't the issue I'm trying to resolve. I have placed the tank into its position, however, the back left corner (if looking from the front of the engine bay) always falls down. it rests on the washer fluid reservoir pipe, which creates a high spot and a pivot point. That is the issue I'm trying to resolve. I want to create a small bracket that would bolt onto the bottom left stud on the cabin air filter that will simply support the tank.
