Let's just say that I would never send them a penny, let alone work on my cars. Maybe they've cleaned up their act, but leopards don't change their spots. Back when Hennesay was modifiying Vipers, he allegedly ripped off multiple customers:

That doesn't mean much to me tbh especially with this car. The less angles, the better. That's like the Elephant Man winning a gold in sprinting. So what if he just outran me, he still looks like the Elephant Man. He has to be good at something, right?

A CTS-V wagon will be my next car
It looks......chunky?
Agreed that Hennessey used to be a crook, from all the stories I've heard. I haven't heard that about any recent customers, but I still wouldn't give him my car. I might buy parts from him to install myself.....

Seriously, there's 8 second VW's/Civics out there. Clearly, they would also keep up and beat a Bugatti Veyron. That doesn't make it good at all. What I'd like to see is a race between this Caddy and a Bugatti from 0-250. That's where the Bugatti shines, it's not built to drag like the Cadillac is.

Looks like Hennessey will pretty much make any car 1200 hp or some variation. But out on the track it really comes down to the driver's ability.
I can't tell you the number of guys who put their 911's and
GTR's into the walls at Road Atlanta because they don't understand speed and handling and apex turning and breaking. Sounds impressive to say you have a 1200 hp car I guess, but I've seen pro drivers out at Road Atlanta in a Saturn beat up on some pretty tricked out cars. !!
Hennessey does have a monster with his Venom car. The Shelby SSC car is off the charts as well. But speed has to be balanced with the car.
Read up on the new Pagani 760RS and see what steps Horacio Pagani took along with the folks at AMG to ensure the car would respond and handle to his strict requirements. Pretty impressive stuff.
Lots of fast cars to choose from that is for sure....

Get you one! I recently bought a 2011 sedan. I spent $100 for a pulley, $200 for a cold air intake and put a $400 box tune on it. Immediately took it to the 1/8 mile local dragstrip and ran a 7.5 at nearly 97 mph.
I really, really like this car and love how durable and inexpensive it is to operate.
