Opinons on estimated power gains...

So next month...if the sale is still on, I plan on doing the following to my car:

SC Pulley upgrade
ECU Tune
NGK Iridiums
Kleemann Headers

Not real interested in spending 3K plus on long tubes although yes...I know they're magnificent. And I'm not entirely sold on the TCU simply because I'm a bit concerned about raising the RPM limiter. I'd rather not blow the engine.

With the following mods, including the Green Air Filters, what do you guys suppose I'd see in terms of power gains? Not looking to do any more than that. I've been told that the stock fuel injectors will be able to handle the boost from the SC upgrade fine, and besides, I don't want to go any bigger than that. Looking for reliable street power.

What would TCU tune do, if anything? I'm honestly not interested in raising the Rev limiter. I'd be more inclined to consider it if that can be avoided.

Those numbers seems a bit disappointing with the headers. They seem unnecessary at that point. You get about 60 whp from tune and pulley alone according to Eurocharged's dynographs.

i think 60 rw is a pretty solid estimate. if you dont like the numbers dont do it, its that simple.

E55 amg
60whp is a good estimate IMO. Kleeman headers will gain u anywhere from 30-40 HP and the sc pulley raises boost 2psi so anywhere from 25-30 HP from that as well.

Well yeah, but isn't the tune also supposed to supplement that as well? I'd likely go with a Eurocharged tune for cost purposes.

What kind of dyno are you talking? If dynojet, id say close to 70 rwhp.. Kleemanns should definitely give you more than 20 wheel

.
Do some reading on those green filters before you buy....

A few guys have had them collapse and I've seen photos of a set that melted too. Quality doesn't seem to be very good, and the risk of engine damage is probably not worth the risk.

K&N or BMC would probably be better choices....

If anything, BMC. Faith in K&N was lost long ago with constant maf sensor problems.

Green though has never done me wrong to this date. Had them in the 32 for a few years.

The smaller SC pulley which equates to a 172 crank.

cornfed gtr and m3
60whp sounds about right, but don't get caught up in the numbers. A 172 pulley, tune and headers will make a huge difference in the way the car drives. It will be night and day.
