3rd Party Warranty?

3rd Party Warranty?
So I am looking at getting either a 2005-2006 E55 with 30-50K miles or a 2007-2009 E63 with the same mileage. I have done a lot of searching, but I can't find much about 3rd party warranties or companies that offer them for AMG vehicles. I am only going to buy the car if I can get a warranty because of the potential cost if there is a catastrophic problem.
I got a quote from http://www.aaautowarranty.com/ and they are asking 5600 for 5 year/60,000 miles. That seems pretty high, but that does cover suspension and all electronics, but it is voided if I add anything to the car including a SC Pulley, Exhaust, Headers, ECU Tune, etc.
What are everyone's thoughts? Is there a company that will still cover the car if it has modifications? Obviously I don't expect them to cover the aftermarket parts, but voiding the entire warranty is crazy.
Thanks in advance. I am really excited to get one of these beastly cars!

NAC offers a Pinnacle warranty. If you get a 2005, I think the cutoff is 7 years so you are right at the cusp. I got mine last year through my credit union for an exceptional price of $2k for 4 years/50k, $50 ded. Bruce at Becks Imports offers the same in case you don't have a cu or your cu does not offer extended warranties. His price was a little higher, which is understandable as they are a for profit business, unlike a cu.

MBWorld Fanatic!
most extended warranty companies will only go back 6 years now - recent change in 2012. I was really lucky to get my '05 covered - pretty much one of the last ones covered by NWC.
oh and yes, it's already paid itself off in 7 months

That's why I refuse to own this car without a warranty! I am pretty good with working on cars, but lately I've been so busy with work that I can't find time. I definitely don't want my car to be sitting in the garage for 2 weeks for a simple repair. I guess I will definitely be getting an 06+. I just can't decide if the 63 is worth the extra 10k. My first thought is no.

Don't know when he got it, but according to the CarMax website, it's only for cars bought from there. http://www.carmax.com/enus/maxcare/default.html

I think you qualify for a "Gold" warranty (if mileage is under 100k) which is good, but does not cover electronics.
