Carbino Air boxes and tubes,, Worth it??

Considering picking up both of these and was wondering if anybody else has them and their feedback on the product. I have searched some threads and found mixed reviews. Older thread talked about a yellowing of the product but was supposedly being fixed, anybody know if it has been?? Also I still have stock throttle body, will the airbox fit?? Carbino website says will fit 78 and 80 mm TB's and needs to be modified for 82mm, what about stock 74mm?? I realize that a bigger TB would probably be a cheaper mod and produce bigger gains, and am considering that as well. Maybe if I want to spend a bunch of cash this winter, I'll have Speedriven put it all on for me and have it ready for spring!!!

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
I had them on my old 63, and hardly think they were worth it.
Mine never yellowed, but I feel were overpriced.
A cosmetic mod at best, not really much of a performance advantage.
Mine were Carbonio, but yes I think the Renntech ones are a bit better...
Though I feel that money could be better spent on other mods

I have the airbox not the tubes.. have not yellowed but I would count this as a cosmetic mod as well.

Chris - let me know if you need another E55 to test fit parts to. I live in Gilbert as well (over by Seville). Good luck with your business.
