Your description and narrative is somewhat condescending and off-putting to me. I honestly didn't even read the whole thing, maybe you are turning prospective buyers away with it??

change your pictures. put more effort into taking the pictures and try to show the beauty of the car. you are asking $40k for the vehicle so your pictures will have to be perfect. Also change your description. Explain the whole thing in nice transitions and not like some mess here and there.
Good Luck!

my first suggestion would be to clean all the **** out of your car then take some new pics.
then redo your description. be concise. concentrate on the positive points. don't start going into numbers, wholesale prices, etc.
I don't think you're gonna get the number you want for the car off ebay. You'll have better luck on autotrader, cars.com, forums etc. Ebay is full of people looking to buy something only if its a really good deal.

Get that crap out of your car QUICKLY, and clean up that nonsens of your description.

Think with words like, CLEAN, Detailed, perfect doors, no damage. No one wants to hear or think about MB service did this or that. State the options CLEARLY, and leave it like that. IMHO

PS: Good luck with the sale

100% need new pictures. Car seat turn's a lot of possible buyers away that don't have kids. Kid's are messy and i can have our SUV detailed and within an hour they have a mess in it. Also your explanation of your asking price/cousin/trade/tax info isn't needed really.

Your listing title dose not give the model type , E63 AMG waggon would be much better than ' E class base waggon 4 door , it will then pick up searches for amg , waggon and E63 . Also the salons are four door , wagons are 5 door .

I personally will not throw $40k into a 07 or any 6.3. I rather throw $20k in an 04-05 55 then another 5k for mod and have smile on my face. Or wait for another year or 2 to put down on the new TT.

the pictures show a lack of attention to detail.

now it makes me wonder if that extends to maintenance.

the text below brings up more concerns of buying from you as a seller.

remember, nothing you say on the forum really makes much difference in real life to you. However, ebay is real world. You can not post there like you would here. That is what it looks like to me.

EDIT: Recondition the drivers seat before you take more pictures.

All of the above, and PLEASE get your car fully detailed. It looks nasty, and from a buyer's perspective, it's a big turnoff.

you sound like a cocky douche. that's why.

I don't care what you got for an offer. I don't care what your cousin's wife's girlfriends dad offered you either. That crap does not belong in a listing. Tire kickers are part of the process. No way to get around that.

If you don't get a bid....lower the price.

Also just noticed you need to take pictures with a camera that was made in the past 15 years.

One of the more annoying descriptions I have ever read on eBay. Do everything everyone has said above, or just stfu and sell it to your fictitious family member. And do it by tomorrow night or you are actually an idiot. Sorry, but if the truth didn't hurt it wouldn't be the truth.

I would personally like to see more details about your family before I consider purchasing the car(I.E. Do you have a hot available sister).

You sound nuts in your ad. Take out everything that's not describing the car.

In addition to what everyone has suggested, keep in mind that when it comes to an AMG Wagon you are looking for a particular customer/buyer. Not everyone wants a wagon. So it might take you a while to wait for the right buyer. But, when you do come across this buyer, you will know and it will be sold.

lol. I just noticed this gem...

I am selling this car to a family member unless i can get a high enough price via eBay. Please, no bottom-dwellers or anyone trying to educate me on the value of the car. That's what I do to other sellers and I know how annoying I am!

To be honest with you, and I have absolutely nothing against you at all, even if that E63 Wagon is the exact same one I'm looking for, reading that description, I wouldn't buy it. You come off as doing the potential buyers a favor, when in fact, they're the ones that are helping you out. The car needs to be cleaned out to show off the magnificence of it. Describe it properly and respectfully. It's a great car, but also a niche one too. How many people are looking to buy (or have) what is essentially a 500+ HP station wagon? Even though it's half the price, there's a reason why a new 2013 E63 Estate is rarer than a 2013 SLS.. Certain market, certain buyer. Give it some time, and make a friendlier listing.
Also, asking in your ad why people are making offers on 09 E63 Wagons does nothing but make the people who were looking at your listing go look at the 09s lol

i saw it last night and thought the same thing - clean it up - get all the crap out fo the car - it looks like a mommy mobile with all the stuff in there - most people who will be looking to buy a used AMG are looking for something very specific and especially clean. I am sure you have noticed that most on this board are extrememly **** about their cars and you are asking $40K for a dirty car.

Just my $0.02 - and why is it that most wagons are nil of alot of options.

3,700 (cost of bumpers/door) + 450 (wheels) = $35,650 - is that to repaint the bumpers or just clena them?

i think if it had more options and better pics you would get some offers - also clean up the description. felt like i had to read it 4 times to understand what you were saying.
