Peter, if I were you, I will fight back. This is a free country and tells them to move to senior area if they can't handle the noise. Ferrari or Lambo are much louder that means you couldn't be able to buy either one of these cars as long as you live there. That's bull**** neighborhood. I believe everyone in here is very pissed and upset your neighbor for you when you told the story. I think you're not nuisance as long as you do not put a gas in the middle of the night. There is no such us law that's you can't mod exhaust system on the car in this country. Again, I were you I would tell them go ahead to file the complaint with the police. When the police comes, I would tell them what they're going to do if I'm going to buy Ferrari or Lambo that's much louder. Fight, fight, fight until you win. Peter.

Do you park your beast in the garage or in the driveway? Onething you can do which is what I did when I had my 04 cobra, is to cold start it in the garage with the door down for the first 15 seconds.
It muffles the sound tremendously, and you would could pull out real quick, and be on your way.

I placed a voice recorder on the side walk and record my cold start at 4:30 am with the door closed. OMG! it was loud!
So now I stuff a rags in one tail pipe on each side to muzzle the sound, its help cut down the sound alot but I still hate doing it every morning.

I have similar setup and live in a townhouse. Luckily I leave for work at 7am and neighbors are cool and don't even notice hat the car is louder at start up. Sucks that you are at the point to sell them to have peace w you hoa neighbors.

Fews week ago I forgot to park the car in the garage over night and the next morning someone egged my car. Than just last week someone sliced my wife rear tire, brand new Michelin tire too.
It's suck some people have to be this way but I just don't want any problems.

Hating the noise is one thing. Taking it out on the car is another. You really want to catch the person in the act who does that.

No more clearance problem
$2100 shipped with new revised driver side header. ARH will make me a new driver side header that will clear the steering column. No more clearance problem.
I wish I could keep these headers but the cop came last week and issued me a warning.
Either move or remove the headers.

I got my stock headers back on. It so quiet now it felt like a whole different car.
Incase you E63 guy was curious about the weight different. I put the LTH on the scale and it weight 55 lbs compare to 62 stock. I forgot to weight the LTH before it went on the car.
