Thanks bro! We need to hit up one of the car shows this spring/summer!
Congrats on picking up the beast! Yes, pewter is a peculiar color and we need to represent more! I ended up just using 3M double sided tape, it was the thin gray version. So yeah, it took some time cutting thin strips for each emblem, lol.

Here's the V1 secured on a mirror mount, hardwired, w/mute button just a short reach from the steering wheel.

Recently picked up this nifty bluetooth receiver to use with the factory iPod integration kit and then tucked it behind the dash, so no more cable.

Great photography and awesome mods you've got!
I definitely want to do the diffuser, facelift headlights and paddles.
Do you do side work? I'm local! haha
Also I see a Crossfit858 sticker... then you probably know my friend Chris Figs huh? LOL.

It's the Tune2Air WMA1000 manufactured by ViseeO. I purchased one through eBay for just under $100 (new).
It's so much more convenient to not have to physically connect my iPhone each time I get in the car.
Product info:

They have the factory OEM cargo rail designed for the W211 and W219 (see MJ50 here: https://mbworld.org/forums/2910003-post256.html). I inquired about this with Steve @ MBenzNL but it's a rather expensive piece of kit. I considered the OEM cargo nets but I didn't like the fact I would have to secure the item each time I removed it.
I discovered there is an accessory kit available for GLs & MLs that did not have this cargo rail system factory installed. The cargo rail is instead secured to the edges of the trunk floor (as opposed to the permanently installed tracks). I had to modify the clips as it was originally designed for a much thicker (GL/ML) cargo floor board.
PM me if you need more details.

Man, car looks so CLEAN! Excellent example of a sexy beast.
Question:
Do you have more shots of the smoked tails? That would look great on my Flint. Also, where did you purchase? Are they just film or did you replace ?
I'd love to see a few different angles to see how it looks in different lighting.
Again, car looks awesome!

+1 on the V1 mirror mount solution question for GunMoto - I have a Blendmount and Invisicord from my previous car that I would like to re-use but the arm to mount it isn't going to work due to the very different mirror stem in the Benz.
Amazing car, I will strive to make my pewter E55 as nice.

I used a universal rear view mirror mount for a V1 on eBay, such as this:
www.ebay.com/itm/190815587440
Because we don't have the "standard" style rear view mirror stem, I secured the mount to the plastic panel covering the rain/light sensor (and cut off the excess length from the set screws). You can "pop" the panel off to remove, and "snap" back into place to reinstall.
I also picked up the Viseeo Tune2Air bluetooth module on eBay, here:

Universal V1 mount, modified and secured to rain/light sensor plastic panel:
Thanks Toad!
Haha, it's been so long for me to reply...you already smoked your tails, lulz. Most def looks legit on Flint!
I simply used dark smoked vinyl from an online supplier and installed in a similar manner you would do for clear bra, and then used an X-acto place to cut the outline of the clear portion of the taillight.
The dark smoke certainly reduces the amount of light passing through, but it's still sufficiently visible during the day and still more so at night, IMO.
EDIT: There's also the option of using a "light' smoke if visibility is a concern.
See my first reply above; I used a universal mirror mount and secured it to the plastic panel covering the rain/light sensor.
Seriously!!
I had my V1 hardwired to the cigarette lighter, and it would power on about 90% of the time. I think it's something related to the cigarette lighter being a "convenience function," and if you're charge is not sufficient (or, ideal), then power will not be supplied and will usually finally power on the V1 following 10-20min of driving.
I just recently re-wired the V1 to the rear view mirror power supply and I haven't had any issues with the V1 not powering on, so hopefully this resolves the issue. I believe the rear view mirror is part of the "Overhead Control Panel" function, which likely has more priority in supplying power, compared to the cigarette lighter.
