Geezzz whether you like or not to like the unit, you guys are asking too much for $600.
Someone can spend $300 for intake scoops and call performance lol and we question $600 mutifunction a/v/n system that much and call it POS? Lol
The only thing I don't like about this unit is the red button. It should be white

Dynavin also uses Parrot Bluetooth...so the BT is by far better than its competitors...another reason for the price increase from the previous model to the current model D99.
Everything for MB is expensive when you think of it haha

Finally got it loaded to youtube. Here is the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIKC...U&feature=plcp
How many channels does the unit support? I didn't see any mention of the specs. built in power etc.

Thanks for taking the time to do the video review! It doesn't seem like a bad price for what they want. I too, like this stereo style because you don't have to use those plastic stereo surround kits. How is the overall audio of it compared to how the oem one sounded? Improved or at least the same i hope?

CD changer is disabled, but you can put music on sd card and play much more then 6 cds. I've seen it where some people have removed cd changer and installed storage bin and door still raises. I'm going to try this

My bad fellas, the radio stations and the volume ARE displayed on the dash under the audio control. I believe this is the only setting that is displayed. If I learn more I will post it.

Bump! Anybody else installed this since then? I need a radio and really like the look of this. The red buttons also turn me off a lot, but that seems to be the only thing I dislike enough to drive me away from buying it. Also, whats the average price for this thing? I see anything from $650 all the way up to $8--.

I know Dynavin has updated to an Android version (versus Windows CE previously) that's now compatible with the fiber optics in the AMGs (Harman Kardon). Steering controls and COMAND will work with it.
I'm interested if anyone's actually installed this headunit and what they liked or hated about it. The new model I'm talking about costs $1500 US shipped from the the manufacturer in the UK.
I'd love to use my phone as a hotspot and have Google Navigation on this thing with live traffic updates...
So, how about it? Anyone speak from personal experience?

I'd also love info on this as I'm ditching COMAND in favor of the Kenwood DNX9990HD head unit, and the E63 is surprisingly bad on storage.
There's got to be some intended use for that little slide out tray next to the glove box button, right? Sunglasses don't fit. What the hell is that thing?

Owners manual says the small tray is for sunglasses or cellphone. Which think back in 03 when it was designed they would have fit it there. I just love watching people push it trying to open the glovebox.
