Anyone seen this Head Unit for W211s?

If you guys haven't tried it yet, I would be VERY shocked.. Put money in it, it literally, no joke, fits in PERFECTLY, perfect length, and width to a tee. Try it out, I am telling you. It holds a lot too, about 80-100 bills. That's a hidden safe capable of $10,000.. Just don't tell any one its there. That's what I do, and have been doing for a WHILE. Thought everyone did...

I know Dynavin has updated to an Android version (versus Windows CE previously) that's now compatible with the fiber optics in the AMGs (Harman Kardon). Steering controls and COMAND will work with it.
I'm interested if anyone's actually installed this headunit and what they liked or hated about it. The new model I'm talking about costs $1500 US shipped from the the manufacturer in the UK.
I'd love to use my phone as a hotspot and have Google Navigation on this thing with live traffic updates...
So, how about it? Anyone speak from personal experience?

Oh...and the conversion rate is huge in our favor right now... the $1500 system is now about $950+ $60 shipping.
I think I may just pull the trigger on it.

This one: it's the newest droid based one...
http://www.dynavinstore.com/shop/mer...9-android.html
I think I might give it a shot - I sent them an email with a few questions...
I'm getting really sick of the electronics in our cars being so dated, but I don't want the "aftermarket" look and this appears pretty decent. Since no hacking of the original wiring is required, I can keep my OEM head unit for future sale of the car etc and not have to worry about everything being a mess in back. Also has support for the CAN-BUS (steering wheel) controls & fibre optic lines...

Please note the DVN-MBC is not compatible with Mercedes-Benz upgraded Harman-Kardon or BOSE sound systems which are fitted with external fiber-optic amplifiers.

Those weren't my questions... that was actually a statement.
My questions I'd sent to them asked about availability, shipping to the states, and a few other things. We'll see if they get back to me.
I'm still a bit unsure about the quality of this...but the form factor certainly is considerably better than going with a Sosche double-din stack and stuffing something in it. I like the idea of the external buttons paired with a touch screen.

I think the DVN-MBC is not compatible with the Harman-Kardon, while the DVN-MBE-MOST is.

Must read:
http://www.dynavin.co.uk/
The UK distributor is now turning against Dynavin.com "Dynavin UK would like to regretfully announce after two and a half years of selling and trading as Dynavin UK, we will no longer be a stockist/distributor for Dynavin products. This is due to Dynavin.COM ‘s increasingly apathetic attitude in regards to the problems/issues with their Dynavin Units. (...) but will now become an information resource outlining the issues/problems users are experiencing with their units, in an effort to force Dynavin.COM into rectifying them."
Not confidence inspiring!

I just had a Kenwood DNX9990HD installed. Losing factory look was a big concern, but when I saw it in I was pleasantly surprised. I'll take some pics tonight if I get a chance.

Please post up the pics and everyone check this out.
Looks like a less expensive route with the aftermarket stereo.

Curious how ^^^^ they were able to install the Dynavin MOST D99 into a RHD W211? Iunno.
As far as Dynavin being a tiny little storefront in HK: not surprising. The mad Brits (speaking English?) probably didn't go to the Shenzhen (Mandarin only) warehouse, which is on the 5th floor. The Hong Kong picture looks like a trading firm/receiving office that's on the first floor, somewhere in Hong Kong. It's not atypical. I challenge the Ex-Dynavin UK to go to Bao-an District. OTOH, the fact that Dynavin doesn't show up in ANY US ocean import database is a severe red flag.
One of their US distro firms is on mbworld as: ottonavigps.
Their "office"/warehouse is within 30min of my house, and I'm sure they'd be interested in re-verifying whether the DVN-MOST system works in a US fiber optic'd car. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't want to see a Kenwood double DIN system stuffed into a W211

Last year you had posted this .. Do you have any more information on the same ...
I've seen it where some people have removed cd changer and installed storage bin and door still raises. I'm going to try this
I had seen a site which were selling the storage bins to be replaces with the 6CD changer .. I cant find it anymore .. Desperately looking for them ..
Any help will be highly appreciated ..
