Just ran across this youtube a minute ago and I would say it's just one more reason to never take your car to a Stealer.... This GM dealership destroyed this guys clutch and then conspires to have him pay for the damages. Check it out.

Sorry, I don't know how to embed it correctly.

Wow - I only hope they bury this dealership and this video goes viral - as a wakeup call to other dealerships and mechanics.

All I can say is DIY

Certainly NOT acceptable behavior but I'm still left wondering how poorly designed the new Camaro must be if it can't survive a simple 20-minute joy ride?

If I owned a car like that I'd certainly do some burnouts and enjoy the car... and I'd certainly expect the car to be able to take abuse without puking it's clutch out.

Funny you said that because I was thinking the very same thing but then I was brought back to the fact that these guys are intentionally abusing it and I bet if I tried real hard I could probably break something on the Beast in 20 minutes too. The part where the guy has total distain for the owner simply because he spent the outrageous sum of $40K for his car is pretty awesome too.

DIY is right!!

Yahoo news picked it up and ran it as a top 3 story suggestion yesterday. The dealership attorney is threatening the kid with a lawsuit over it now. Apparently they haven't gltten nearly enough terrible publicity for their liking yet. Lol

On another note I'm a GM guy at heart and even though I don't personally care for the new camaro the drive train is actually built pretty well. Especially the motor/trans. That tech did some really poor driving. He talks about going through 6 gears without using the clutch at one point I believe. I can only imagine how badly he slipped that clutch. Talking of rolling into it and the clutch slipped the whole time. Roll the clutch out wrong and you can have it slipping the whole time with the full clamping force on it. That will kill a clutch REAL quick.

I hope the dealership goes under. The owner might not have been doing those burnouts, but his employees did, and it's his job to make sure that **** like that doesn't happen.

The dealership should have bought the car back considering what happened. I can't believe they had the ***** to say no. They asked for this PR **** storm. I hope it only gets worse for them.

News on yahoo today, dealership finally agreed to offer to buy Clark's car back.

Should we hid voice recorder whenever we bring our MB to dealership?
