Fixxfest November 16, 2012 Bradenton, Florida
Saw Fixxfest mentioned in another thread and figured I would start a official one. It is a european car show held at the Bradenton, Fl dragstrip in which you can also run your car down the track during the event.
I went last year and there were 3 E55s there, a few E90/92 M3s one or two GTRs and then a bunch of Audis and VWs with a few others mixed in (Porsche, etc).
A shop called USP Motorsports located in south Florida comes up with some of their shop cars (B5 S4 single turbo VR6 engine that runs in the 9s and their 996 Porsche Turbo that runs low 10s), so those are cool to watch being ran.
Last year there was also a widebody HPF Stage 3 E46 M3 (didn't run down track though).
Show starts at 12 on Saturday and goes until 7pm. $15 to get in and $10 to race if you want and then other fee of $10 if you want to enter your car for the show.

I went to it a few years ago an it was full of vw, not many BMW or Benz there. Super boring but I'm Down to go if many will go.

It gets bigger each year so I am sure it is a little better now than when you went if it was a few years back. Like I said, there were 3 E55s there last year, but if a crew decides to all go there could be several Mercedes vehicles there.
I will be making the trip from Jacksonville, I think there a few other members located in Jville besides me (haven't met anyone though), not sure if any will go but there are several guys in the Miami area that could drive up and then all of you in the Tampa area are right around the corner.
I also own an Audi so I may like the show a little more than some that may not be interested in them, but it was cool seeing the different cars run down the track (M3s, GTRs, Porsches, myself and the 2 other E55s there as well as all the VW and Audis that gave it a go. And then just getting out of the house for the day and doing somethin different. Then of course it is always cool to meet people in person that you talk with online.

Yes I will drive down, not really sure how I would meet up with you guys from Tampa though since you are only coming right over toward i-75 as where I will be coming down it. Unless you mean meet somewhere before heading to the show/track.

I went last year with my old E class first time it was great. We meet at HHGREG right next to Hooters in Tampa not sure the address will find out soon and let you guys know. We where about 40+ cars after that we drove down to Fixxfest fun drive on the way there. I'm going to go out there this year with my new 04 Black s class. I'm also driving from Clearwater/Largo with my buddie he has 07 911 Turbo so if any of you guys live down in Clearwater want to come ride out with us your more then welcome.

I need someone else from Jacksonville or at least Gainesville to ride down with me. I don't want to be a lone soldier rolling down! What if I see some other Euros on the way down and they try to prey on me, I need backup!!!

Not exactly sure of the time i think last year i got there like 1030 am and we didn't leave in till about 1130ish or so. Manuyc i talked to bertii00 about cars and coffee every 3rd sat of the month it happens this coming Nov 17TH looks like we have the Cars and coffee sponsored by Dupont in the same day as fixxfest. So we have a long day ahead of us. UrbamWorm i hope you find someone you can come ride down with but once you get to Tampa for the meet you will ride down to Bradenton with us and 50+ more cars. But the show is Saturday Nov 17Th
