(SOLD) 05 E55 Estate. 11 Golf TDi

Lug nut question (yes, I searched)

Quick question, I bought my car with the Hre's, I just bought a set of stock wheels, do I need to get different lug nuts? Or will the ones that hold the HRE's work?

Yes, you should have different ones. Aftermarket wheels use conical seats, and OEM use radial seats

If you can wait, order bolts online. They will be much cheaper
Do a search for length of bolts

They are $5 ea at the dealer

My HREs dont.
I would check the seat of your bolts on the rim if it can accept it.
Some manufacturers do make it compatible with ball seat bolts. For instance ADV1 does.......I do not know if HRE does or not.
