BMW M6 vs. Z06 vette




Notice after 120mph how hard the M6 starts walking. Funny thing is, that M6 will sweat hard to break 11's at the track where as a stock Z06 with drags can go 10's.

Ahmad (blackbenzz) raced a s/c M6 a couple weeks ago and it was a really close race but the M6 started pulling up top. They did a slow roll and Ahmad killed him

E55 AMG on Ethanol-Meth; 600rwhp BMW M5
The M6 is modded and the vette is bone stock. I think the M6 has 3.91 gear, full exhaust, filters and tune.

Evosport Pulley

(M6 with mods - 480 whp - about 560-570 hp to the flywheel (M6 Curb Weight - 3,908 lbs.) 7 spd SMG tranmission

E63s - AMG and M6
They are both very different cars.

In a straight line, the Z06 is very fast. On a circuit, the M6 would keep up with it, even without mods.

The video is as old as the Vette. My guess is the Vette driver didn't fully know how to race it yet.

Huh?...

Mash the gas pedal to the floor for ~20 seconds. Throw in a couple of reasonably quick shifts when necessary. Pretty simple, I'm sure even I could do it.

It's a shame you weren't there to teach these Z06 guys how to drive back in the day. I mean, you could have helped this stock Z06 beat an M6 stroker:

A stock LS3 vette can take a stock M6 on the highway. Either that driver in the original video didn't know how to race or the M6 is heavily modded.
