Been a week today with my new car, dont have front cup holders and the alcantara headlining!

Can anybody shed some light?

What do you mean? It's a W211 E55 and you don't have the pop up cupholder in the center console which is located between the suspension settings buttons and the armrest? You also have a cloth headliner or something instead of the synthetic suede?

Seems very strange...

yes to both however I live in the UK could this be a market thing?

I suppose so. You know how us Americans 'require' cupholders in our cars:o THe more the merrier

Anyway, I guess the compartment that houses the cupholder in the center console is a simple storage bin in your car?

Bi-xenons are standard, could someone please post the part number for the front cup holders thanks

Its an option in the UK and the rest of the world .. 30 euros. your delaership should know the part number. As for the sudede headliner its an option in the rest of the world also.
