Emissions Failed OBDII "Not Ready" Any Idea How to Fix?

I have no error codes or CEL light so any idea how to fix this. I bought one of those OBD scanners from Walmart but haven't opened yet.

See sig below for mods, but my guess is if I can tell the ECU it's, "Ready" all will be well? Again no codes are being thrown.

I searched the forum but a lot of the threads are old.

Thanks as always for the guidance.

I had the same problem for the longest time and used torque app to let me know exactly what the problem was. Let me check my records , I will post back shortly.

Yes the EC tune causes it. They probably turn the rear O2 off causing it never ready. I got it right at the first time but then forgot to mention at the last dyno tune and now I need to have it fix also when the smog time come.

Send your ecu to kleemann and get a real tune.

you can go to any parts store and ask them to read the readiness monitors. cost is nada zip free.
have jerry turn the rear cats on then you will need to do adrive cycle of approx 100 miles in city and highway driving

Makes sense. The last tune they did the disabled the secondary O2 sensors as my LTH only only have one cat on each side.

So as I understand it reach out to Jerry, have him do a remote tune where the rear cats are "On", drive for 100 miles then go to the emissions test again? I have 30 days here so this is very helpful!

Just confirming this is what you'd recommend?

Thanks guys!

Whatever the solution is, I'll post it on this thread so we have an updated resource for those that us that got in on the LTH with EC tune group buy.

once you have driven the car take it to any parts store to have the monitors read. when everything reads "ready" then go get the emissions done. that way you only pay once for emissions.

You do know the second you turn them back on you will get a check engine light for o2sensors below threshold right? I mean I could be wrong but that's how your tuning deals with no cats.

Will do, thank you! I guess the key is to do this before the CEL turns on so I don't pass visual inspection. I bought one of those OBDII scanners/readers from Walmart so wouldn't that give the abiilty to check if my car was in, "Ready" mode so I could then get the emissions done? Or do the parts store of a more complex/detailed reader?

I also just emailed Adam and Jeremy at EC confirming these are the right steps. Thanks very much 320 dreamer for your help here!

same scanner as the store . for me it was easier to use them rather than buy a scanner. after i went dashdaq i could clear my own codes as the scanners wont
i would do the drive cycle check for readiness and if any codes have a shop clear any codes. once the cycle is done DONT disconnect the battery to try to clear the codes it will clear the monitors as well and you have to start over

If you have the TQ app to monitor systems, this is what your screen needs to look like in order to pass emmissions. You can have 1 incomplete only, and still pass. Obviously if you have none, that is even better but my e55 remains in this status.

In order to get "READY", you need to have your o2 sensors turned back on, but we put another chip on my board to flash it out. Essentially your o2's are now turned back on, but you wont get a CEL if you dont have cats.

Hit me up via PM if you want us to get you "ready"

I have a similar situation. I have no codes or pending codes. I have 3 items showing not ready. I have driven over 1200 miles since the last reset and fixed an exhaust leak. I have the rear cats installed so I see no reason why I can have the rear o2 sensors turned on.

Anyone help me here? Or just send the ecu to Kleeman.

It's your ec tune. So many peeps are having this issue since the rears are probably turned off. In some states you are allowed one or two not ready and still be able to pass. Need to check your state. I went with and passed w my Oe tune and so have others w Kleemanns tune as well. Maybe replace or o2 if they are oem and never replaced
