Another Failed Wheel Thread!

above shows Korean wheel "parts"
below shows a Chinese supplier (tho data is a bit old on both):

Not that one can deduce "wheel parts" are blanks/centers/barrels or lugnuts, but you git the gist.
My food last night was Chinese, my computer screen is Chinese, my cabin filter probably Chinese, so are my clothes hangers and most home furniture. But $4000 for imported wheels from Guangdong province? Does everyone NOT know the country is known for adding melamine into milk which directly fed the children? Are you guys running Vos/ADV/TSW/blah blah blah, insane?
Beyond style/weight, run a import records scan before you buy any wheel. It could be life or death. Speaking of which, it's SEMA time, which means most of the Asian wheel suppliers are all in Vegas hawking the same concave wheels. It shouldn't be too hard to find the factory of the blanks (if they're indeed produced overseas) there.
I also read somewhere that they also manufacture Bespoke Forged and Axiom Forged.
Whats the point in paying all this money then for a forged wheel if it cant hold up at a track event?

We would be more than happy to entertain any questions concerning our product, fitments, and warranty however we would ask that it be done via PM, as anything directly related to this posting is not something we can/should address at this moment in time.
And there are pictures of him at the homestead racetrack participating in a track event with his Porsche with COR wheels on (Brava I believe).....
How ironic.
I wont post the name of the link since i don't want to defame anyone. To be fair I dont think COR wheels/Owner are showoffs like you know who.

Yet another example of why a wheel having a genuine TUV rating is a good thing. The wheel crap coming out of China, India and other third world casting facilities is truly appalling. I'm surprised these types of failures don't happen more often.
$4,500 for a set of wheels they won't stand behind, and when they break they CHANGE THEIR WARRANTY and deactivate their FB page. I have a feeling someone is going to find out these wheels aren't even forged, or have some major corners cut in production.

I see what you did there.

Oh goodness...who can forget Corporal Hicks. The phrase, "we're pretty fu$@ed now!" is ironic on this thread.
