Wow they closed shop over this?! I hope this sets an example for other brands, regardless of the product they carry, that no matter how great your company may be and no matter how long you work to set yourself up as reputable, you can be wiped out in a few days over one costly mistake.

Basically you guys are going down the **** hole. Businesses like yours are the reason why Miami is in the slump. You should have offered a refund on the spot to the owner, before the owner had to send them and get them warrantied.

They claim they offered a refund to the guy, but he also wanted them to fix his car (which they should, that thing bageled itself). I would have gone directly to my lawyer as well!!

Well, if they have already offered replacement/refund at first, then I think it's acceptable to me. Fixing the vehicle is something too much to expect.

One thing to remember when road racing, you can really damage your wheels when going off course. That's why they have those warnings for aftermarket wheels.
In this case though, the wheel disintegrated from the center. I'm glad they're going to test the material of the wheel face because that will better explain what happened.
