This place is a joke.
That color code is "693 Travertine Beige" AKA "desert silver" as we know it here.... It's not a designo color, and the car doesn't have designo interior.

but he is big into cars... and that car was pretty nice when I hung out with him 2 yrs ago.... However, he has the biggest head in the world and exaggerates everything

Yes, "desert silver" is the gold color, it was very popular on the 210 chassis. Pewter, more of the neutral/brown tone is called "cubanite silver" by MB Germany but known here as "Pewter Silver" ...Leave it to MB to make things confusing with multiple names for the same color 
My car is "teallite blue" from the factory but known here as "platinum blue"
I wanted a pewter E55, but mine came along for a deal. Didn't like the color at first but it's grown on me and I love it now. Changes colors from blue, to blue-silver,to grey depending on the light.
Never seen a desert silver E55 in person.
