My opinion, not many cars look good in flat black. Only those with aggressive and sharp lines, like CTS-V, Lambo's... We are driving 4 door German taxi's with big engines, with a very conservative shape. Anything you do to try and make it look like a sports car just doesn't seem to look good to me. I even don't like the '07+ 211 facelift from MB, a pointed nose on a round car, mirrors that don't flow... just looks like they tried to stick something on to sell some "newer" versions of the same car. Look at our mirrors compared to the facelift, the shape, they are sexy, and fit with the rest of the car. But if you like it that's what it's about, not really what others think. I prefer the factory supercar look, factory wheels, etc.. with mods under the hood so that it looks stock and still keeps the E55 stealth personality.

I wanted a White Matte finish but Canadian Winter is not suitable lol , so this was just a test color. I understand your point , that money I could've spent on ECU tune but winter I don't need those extra 50 horses lol Next year in beginning of May I'd be changing a lot of stuff.

Some cars look great in the matte finish/murdered look. The E series is not one of them. But, if you like it, that is all theat matters

Not digging it either, gloss black would have been nice, or white, matte or not, like suggested. As said before, to each their own, its your car.

Every time I see a car with this rubberized undercoating sprayed all over it, it always makes me think the same thing: It must be some kind of salvage / theft recovery vehicle that was fixed hastily and then sprayed with a "paint" that would hide all the damage and/or bad bodywork.

That's harsh lol but maybe cuz you all have different tastes. I have seen other people dipped their porsche, bimmers and Escalades too

I just wanted a taste of it, Won't be spending 5 grand on a pearl white paint job when I can get stage 2 Eurocharged for that price lol

Personally i don't like it on this car, but as long as you like it, that's all that matters. Looks like it came out good though.

I had plastidip paint on my original grill, but I would never do something like that to the car. I personally don't like like the look at all, so I will side with most others here, but hey you can always rip it off right? Hope it didn't cost to much.

What color is the car's real paint?
