EvoSport Top Mount Coolers...
Not that anyone still cares (probably) but EvoSport finally posted photos of their completed setup on their Facebook page.
The final intake is god-awful looking, but they claim something like 62hp increase in power on a stock engine.
Dyno sheets are supposed to be provided later today.

I like the coolers, but hate the rest. They should have did the other inlet just like the right side of the car. What is the point of putting both inlets right in front of eachother? Did they add something on the other side that makes that spot unusable? If they can no longer use that other side, they seriously need to come up with some sort of cast piece that looks good like the coolers. Oh well. If i was in the market for something like this, i would NOT buy it based off of that ugly *** hacked together inlet going across the SC.

There is very little room under the hood, thus the need for the drivers side intake [with the larger coolers] to run as it is....Could it look a bit better, sure, but if it is functional then thumbs up...for $8k I think one would be smarter to just get the Whipple 3.0 blower kit from Weistec.

Should have stuck with the filter right on throttle body and make a little box around it if they really wanted to have it enclosed. Then maybe run a tube up to the front to provide "cold" air if they felt the need to have something up to the front.
That setup is just terrible looking and the price is a Weistec supercharger. Who in their right mind would go this route?

Air filters in the engine bay.. Must do wonders for the IAT's
How much are the SLR air box I would rather use that and make a 2 in 1 oval tubing that works with the existing air ducts in the front of the car

but it is only on one side of the intake. there are 2 intake tubes and I don't see another plenum
they could of did the same on the drivers side as they did the passenger and run enclosed air filters and still hooked up to factory air duct near radiator

The more I see this sort of solution, the more I wonder why nobody has ever grafted-in some Mercedes hood vents into the upper corners of the hood to get fresh, cool air into the engine comparment....
The only thing I could find online was an SLR vent, but I know I've seen them on other cars too (SL's maybe?)

There would be a fair amount of fabrication to weld them into a stock hood and to get everything repainted, but presumably they would already be set up to deal with rainwater drainage issues??
The hardest part would be creating the compartments in the engine bay that could be sealed to the underside of these vents (including the air filters).
