Camber Kit

Need to get camber kit for my rear. Oddly enough I have positive camber so my wheels sit really off like this :

Depends on how many sets of rears you go through in a year.

Have you tried flipping tires side to side every 5k miles or so?

My CLS55 is lowered via STAR and I can get an easy 10k by flipping them.

Sounds like someone slid the backend around and hit a curb. Have you looked for a bent trailing arm or control arm?

OK. Just doesn't make sense to me. Something is amiss back there.

If it's minor, I doubt you will pick up on it with your eye. My guess is either a bent hub, bent control arm, or a bent subframe.

What are your actual camber measurements in degrees? I have my rear set at 2.16 deg L&R. This was accomplished after resetting the ride height about 1" lower then factory.

Won't work if the tires are asymmetrical.

See how the tread is not the same all the way across the tire? There is a specific inner and outer side to the tread, specifically noted by Michelin. You flip that tire on the wheel and the tire is no longer functioning as it's designed; most notably, expelling water.

Then they're unidirectional. You can swap those left to right, then.

Just don't swap the entire wheel/tire left to right.

I am going to get it aligned at a speed shop and balance all wheels... hopefully it will fix the problem.

Agreed,I'm guessing somthing is bent as well. suspension parts typically shrink and don't streach from a impact. Being positive camber its not going to be a upper arm. A lower control arm is a cheap/easy place to start. You won't nessasarly see it being bent. A spindle or subframe is obviously more involved.
