So how are the smaller supercharger pullies holding up?

Thinking about adding one with a ECU tune and bigger intercooler with the Eurocharged sale going on. Have these had problems like the crank pullies? I'm looking for a small bump in boost and not having to worry about a screwed up crank.

With a tune and blower pulley and intercooler will I be able to hit 11's with a good launch?

Ive put quite a lot of miles on mine and I'd say its holding up perfectly! I ran a 11.7 in my E55 with this pulley. My mods were S/C Pulley, K&N Filters, 2nd cat and resonator delete, Heat Exchanger, Pump, and Tune..

Here's a link to a thread I made..

Almost 2k on mine with 3 runs at the strip, I did need to re shim as when really hot the clutch would stick. However once I actually followed the instructions correctly and put all 4 shims in its been fine.
If you double up with larger crank pulley remember you will need much improved cooling.

To OP unless you know the history of the existing IC pump and the condition I would suggest changing it at the same time as the HE. The OEM Bosch one is fine IMO.

Mine is still ***-kicking and name-taking. It's also paired with a 175mm crank pulley and the belt wrap kit. I'm planning my Dashdaq install for this or next week for some data logging, then an updated tune before getting some updated dyno numbers.

I got my 55 with the SC pulley already installed, there should be around 4-5k it. No problems at all.

We have a ton of customers out there with them and they are solid.

The sale is still going on until tomorrow, act fast! Prices only go this low one time a year!

SC pulley installed months ago and working flawlessly. I would install the belt wrap kit as well, my car hits hard. Got my best short times after installing the belt wrap kit.

Ordered the ECU tune and cable already. Waiting for a call back from your salesman to add the supercharger pulley and if its still available for teh sale price the bigger intercooler setup as well.

what does it feel like when it sticks. im at 2 shims and everything seems fine, only once did something weird happen and basically i was going 30ish mph let off the gas and the just kept going, i was wondering if it was the clutch stuck on the SC.....

After a 1/4 mile run popped the hood could hear a tick/scraping noise from the clutch, then on the freeway driving at 65-85 mph the car would stutter on light throttle as if it was starved of fuel and AFR warning flashed on my data logger. When I stopped car became erratic at idle, if I shut it down and restarted the car all was fine.

Just to be clear this problem was because of a fitting error not a fault with the pulley/clutch.

Well I went ahead and ordered a pulley and heat exchanger as well. Figured with the pricing I may as well pick the stuff up now. I may not get it on till next spring as the car is close to being put away for the winter at this point but at least I have it for a set your hair on fire screaming deal.
