2008 e63 w/ performance option looking at one tomorrow

If the moderator could please remove the other thread that I started ('looking at 2008 tomorrow...) because I didnt realize that the title might not get any response. Sorry for that.

I am going to look at 2008 E63 tomorrow and it has every option including the performance option so my two questions are...does the performance option give you more horsepower and is it faster? I read about most of the differences...ie: rear end, headliner, steering wheel, wheels. My next question is...do you guys like those wheels? I like the others better so if I buy it, how much are these 3 piece wheels worth and would it kill the car for resale later if I sold them?

Given your reaction to the wheels, you sort of answer your own question. I bought a set from someone on this forum for $1600. However, someone finding themselves needing to replace just one might consider paying more.

The performance package is only faster around a race track. The LSD and 40-50% firmer bound and rebound settings are what do that. There is no extra horsepower. The 2010 model is faster yet around a track due to wider front track, beefier rubber, and coil over front suspension. The MCT tranny helps a bit.
